Mahmoud Temtaji was born in Kashan on May 29, 1971. He was recruited in the cultural heritage organization in 1998. He began to study arts and crafts with MansoorMotshakerAraniand he succeeded in mastering the skills and experience required for the texture of woolen fabrics and soon became a member of the traditional artist group in Zarbaft. He has achieved promoted ranks due to the quality of his work and years of experience in this field. He obtained artistic grade 4 in 2005 and obtained artistic grade 2 in 2011 and in 2014 he was awarded the first grade of art from the Board of Artists of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Also, in 2010, Tamtaji'sacquired the sign of authenticity of UNESCO's cultural organization for his valuable works. Among his prominent works are set up an embossed velvet machine, teaching students and applicants, helping college students in dissertations in the related field, and participating in various exhibitions. He has been the head of traditional arts and crafts branch for two years.
